It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but The Harvest Christian Academy Saints ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past San Jacinto Christian Academy 39-36. The team accrued 33 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
Leading Harvest Christian Academy to victory were Mason Ross and Armando Franklin. Ross threw for 196 yards and four touchdowns, while Franklin gained 182 total yards and four touchdowns.
Harvest Christian Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 5-5. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely San Jacinto Christian Academy, Highlands, and Calvary Academy. As for San Jacinto Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
Harvest Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. San Jacinto Christian Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
