A feisty cat fight will be fought as Big Sandy Wildcats duke it out with Hull-Daisetta Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. Hull-Daisetta took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Big Sandy, who comes in off a win.
Big Sandy barely beat Leggett the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats' pitcher stepped up to hand the Pirates a 20-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Kolten Glover made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Glover was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three).
In other batting news, Daniel Barker was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Corbin Cude, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.
Big Sandy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .759. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Hull-Daisetta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to Evadale.
Big Sandy's record now sits at 9-6-1. As for Hull-Daisetta, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
Hull-Daisetta's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Big Sandy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .455. It's a different story for Hull-Daisetta, though, as they've only averaged .361. Will they be able to contain Big Sandy's hitters?
