Baseball Recap: Lansingburgh Gets the Win

Lansingburgh won the last time they faced Hoosic Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Knights walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Hawks. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by exactly five runs.

Ethan Luby looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk).

At the plate, Brayden Wilkinson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Braedan Kepner was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Lansingburgh has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Lansingburgh and Hoosic Valley will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Knights are set to square off against their familiar foe La Salle Institute at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hoosic Valley will take on rival Waterford-Halfmoon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
