A well-balanced attack led Oak Hills over Mason in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Everything went the Oak Hills Highlanders' way against the Mason Comets as the Oak Hills Highlanders made off with a 49-28 victory. The Highlanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season.
Nathaniel Riep was his usual excellent self, going 5 of 12 en route to 17 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Cox, who posted four points and eight rebounds.
The win made it two in a row for Oak Hills and bumps their season record up to 3-2. As for Mason, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Hills will host Lakota West at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mason, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Elder at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th.
