They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Summit Tahoma 58-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Summit Tahoma still got an impressive performance from J Jay, who scored 39 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jay has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jessie Tagnangas JR, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season. As for Summit Tahoma, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3.

As for Summit Tahoma, they will play host again and welcome Cindy Avitia, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
