The Vanlue Wildcats will take on the Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Vanlue and nine for Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian.
Last Friday, Vanlue had to suffer through a rough 70-6 loss at the hands of North Central.
Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian fell victim to Fremont's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were outmatched by the Eagles on the road and fell 34-0. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.
Even if they lost, Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Chip Bennett and his two sacks.
The losses dropped Vanlue to 1-7 and Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian to 0-9.
