The Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took down Morrisville 68-50. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory The Christian Academy has managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead The Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than SirGuy Epps Jr., who scored 32 points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Cam Harrop, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bristol beat Renaissance Academy 44-39 on Friday.
The Christian Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Bristol, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
The Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Bristol in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, but they still walked away with a 55-50 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for The Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
