Highland Park is 6-1 against Humboldt since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Highland Park Scots will be playing at home against the Humboldt Hawks at 6:00 p.m. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Highland Park and five for Humboldt.
Highland Park suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Saturday. Their tough 79-58 defeat to Roseville might stick with them for a while. Meanwhile, Humboldt pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 72-59 to Roosevelt.
Highland Park bumped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Humboldt, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Everything came up roses for Highland Park against Humboldt when the teams last played back in February of 2022 as the squad secured a 83-43 win. Will Highland Park repeat their success, or does Humboldt have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
