Animas got themselves on the board against Lake Arthur on Friday, but Lake Arthur never followed suit. Animas put a hurting on Lake Arthur to the tune of 52-0. That result was just more of the same for Animas, who also won the last time these teams played.
Animas added further sheen to their flawless record, now 6-0. The loss dropped Lake Arthur's record to 2-5.
Next week Animas take on Carrizozo at 7:00 PM. Carrizozo have averaged 69 points over the course of their past seven games, so Animas might be in for a challenge. As for Lake Arthur, they will face off against Hondo Valley. Lake Arthur's defense better steel itself: Hondo Valley are averaging 35.29 points per game.
