Garner and Fuquay - Varina pushed the score to 12-9 the last time they played Fuquay - Varina, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Trojans narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bengals 1-0. Those one runs were actually the fewest the Trojans have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Garner is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.
