Concordia  took care of business in their home opener  on Thursday (and then some). Everything went their way against the Republic County Buffaloes as the Concordia Panthers made off with  a  22-1 victory. That's more bragging rights for Concordia, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 For Republic County's part,  Adam Krohn made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-1 with a  home run and a  stolen base.
 Concordia will head out on the road to  face off against  Beloit on Monday. As for Republic County, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Sylvan-Lucas at 4:00  p.m. Republic County is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
