Alex Bene looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kade Scruggs, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. William Cutshall was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double.
