Windermere took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They breezed past the Harmony Longhorns to the tune of 43-3. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row dating back to last season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Windermere to victory, but perhaps none more so than Onix Vazquez, who picked up 96 receiving yards and two TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Rogers, who rushed for 65 yards and one touchdown.
Looking ahead, Windermere will host Cypress Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Wolverines' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Harmony, they will head out to take on Poinciana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
