The Apex Friendship Patriots typically have all the answers at home, but on Friday the Panther Creek Catamounts proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 59-50 victory over the Patriots. The victory was nothing new for Panther Creek as they're now sitting on three straight.
Chris Uwayo was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Ware, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Panther Creek's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-5. As for Apex Friendship, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-5.
Panther Creek will take on Holly Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Panther Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Holly Springs likes a good challenge. As for Apex Friendship, they will head out on the road to face off against Cary at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cary will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while Apex Friendship is ranked 106th).
