They never let Maine Central Institute onto the board and left with  an   8-0  victory. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest  win Erskine Academy has managed all season.
 The result came thanks to  Hayden Chase's shutout, as he gave up just one  hit and racked up 14 Ks.
 On the hitting side, Erskine Academy's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Ryan Tyler, who  went 1-for-4 with three  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hunter Foard, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Medomak Valley fell victim to Leavitt and their airtight pitching crew  on Wednesday. They lost  10-0 to the Hornets. Medomak Valley has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Erskine Academy's win  ended  an  eight-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 3-12. As for Medomak Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
