Perhaps the best among those players was Nigel Jones, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 boards. Jones is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Marco Arriaga, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 16 points.
Even though they lost, Manual was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as DSST: Cedar only racked up eight assists.
DSST: Cedar got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Matt Stophel out in front who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 18 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Stophel a new career-high in points. Abdi Vidow was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten boards.
Manual's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for DSST: Cedar, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.
Manual will welcome Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Manual is facing Kennedy at the right time seeing as Kennedy is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. DSST: Cedar has already played their next game, a 60-47 defeat against Sterling on the 25th.
