West Johnston's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to C.B. Aycock on Tuesday. The Wildcats never let the South Johnston Trojans get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. Considering West Johnston have won five contests by more than five goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting South Johnston from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. BROOKE BAIS led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

West Johnston's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those four matchups. As for South Johnston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
