The Diller-Odell Griffin came into Friday's   game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They strolled past Superior with  points to spare on Friday, taking the game  51-34. The  win was just what Diller-Odell needed coming off of a  72-34 loss in their prior  matchup.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Diller-Odell to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Cooper Morgan, who  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and 13  rebounds. Morgan hasn't dropped below nine  rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was  Zachary Warren, who  scored eight points along with six  rebounds and five  assists.
 Despite the  defeat, Superior saw an underclassman step up:  Colten Butler  scored 20 points along with six  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Butler has scored all season.
 Superior  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only three  assists. They  were crushed by their opponents in that department as Diller-Odell  racked up 15  assists.
 Diller-Odell's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Superior, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with that  loss, which was their fifth straight  at home.
 Diller-Odell is on the road again  on Tuesday and plays the Bobcats at 4:00  p.m.  on January 30th. As for Superior, they will  challenge the Titans at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Hopefully Thayer Central focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 13 on Saturday.
