Smithville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mikayla Wall led the charge by dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Isabelle Summerford, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
The victory got Smithville back to even at 3-3. As for Houlka, they bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
