Sammamish and Bellevue are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The RedHawks will host the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sammamish will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
On Monday, Sammamish made easy work of Highline and carried off a 12-2 victory. The RedHawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.
Peyton Corp looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.

Greyson Arnold made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Bellevue's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Sammamish has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.3 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Bellevue, though, as they've been averaging only 4 strikeouts. Will Sammamish keep running through batters, or will the Wolverines buck the trend?
Sammamish beat Bellevue 6-3 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Do the RedHawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolverines turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
