Treveon Hinton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with six steals and two blocks. It was the first time this season that he posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Tykeen Ross, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds.
Meanwhile, sadly, Wagener-Salley is still looking for their first win of the season after 19 games. They took a serious blow against North on Tuesday, falling 75-23. While losing is never fun, Wagener-Salley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 310th, while North is ranked 68th).
Denmark-Olar's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Wagener-Salley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-19.
Everything came up roses for Denmark-Olar against Wagener-Salley in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 101-39 win. With Denmark-Olar ahead 51-22 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
