While losing is never fun, Wagener-Salley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 310th, while North is ranked 68th).
Denmark-Olar's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Wagener-Salley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-19.
