Belchertown fell to Monument Mountain/Mt. Everett 14-38 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Belchertown were the clear victor by a 31-0 margin over Monument Mountain/Mt. Everett. Belchertown were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got Belchertown back to even at 2-2. The loss dropped Monument Mountain/Mt. Everett's record to 1-3.
Next week Belchertown take on Drury at 7:00 PM. Drury took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Belchertown's good fortune. As for Monument Mountain/Mt. Everett, they will face off against Mt. Greylock Regional. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable defeat.
