The Frankenmuth Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Swan Valley as Frankenmuth made off with a 59-35 victory. That looming 59-35 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Frankenmuth yet this season.
It was another big night for Thomas Conzelmann, who scored 21 points along with eight steals. Those eight steals set a new season-high mark for him. Carson Knoll was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven steals.
The victory got Frankenmuth back to even at 2-2. As for Swan Valley, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frankenmuth will take on Carrollton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carrollton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 408th, while Frankenmuth is ranked 172nd). As for Swan Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Clare at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
