Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Sophia Meklemburg stepped things up a notch to give Cuyahoga Heights the 'W'. Meklemburg wasn't messing around, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. The contest was her third straight with at least one stolen base.

Meklemburg's strong effort led Cuyahoga Heights over Maplewood and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Wolves will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 298 places lower in Ohio), but they're not letting that get them down.
