St. Joseph had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Incarnate Word Academy Falcons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Flyers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.

Maelee Montgomery paced St. Joseph's offense, picking up nine kills. Montgomery got some help from Zoey Henning and her 11 assists. Abigail Brister controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

St. Joseph's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Incarnate Word Academy, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

St. Joseph didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Fort Worth Christian on the 5th. As for Incarnate Word Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lutheran South Academy at 6:30 p.m. on the 16th.
