Stanton County won the last time they faced Beaver, and things went their way on Friday, too. Stanton County were fully in charge, breezing past Beaver 41-0. Stanton County was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got Stanton County back to even at 0-0. The loss dropped Beaver's record to 0-1.
Stanton County will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Lakin at 7:00 PM. Beaver have some extra time to regroup and restrategize before their next game, which is against Booker at 7:00 PM in two weeks.
