Make it seven blowout wins for the Dallas Christian Chargers this season. They blew past All Saints Episcopal 50-21 on the road on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but Dallas Christian sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Dallas Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jackie Schlegel out in front who scored 17 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Macie Perkins, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and four steals.
Dallas Christian is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for All Saints Episcopal, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Dallas Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Covenant comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last eight games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for All Saints Episcopal, they will head out on the road to challenge the Guard at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brook Hill presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Trojans in Texas (the Guard are ranked 544th, while the Trojans are ranked 1147th).
