Cole Halbrook made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Halbrook was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Landon Sims looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Meanwhile, Fern Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against Male, falling 15-4.
Bullitt Central's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-8. As for Fern Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
