There's no place like home for Tolono Unity, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They never let the Normal University Pioneers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won five games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Tolono Unity pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Normal University, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tolono Unity is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Oakwood at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Normal University, they will take on Williamsville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
