2A PAC 6 recap Oct. 16, 2012
T.W. Andrews extended the longest winning streak in 2A PAC 6 this week by beating Randleman, 41-10. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Red Raiders.
Carver moved up to 204 from 241 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Yellowjackets climbed the ranks as a result of beating Atkins 48-16.
Randleman's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Zach Dunbar has thrown for 1581 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Juval Mollette has 41 catches for 850 yards. Chris Allen leads the league in rushing with 912 yards.
The Tigers' Allen needs only 88 yards against Wheatmore next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
A big matchup in 2A PAC 6 this week will be when Carver takes on T.W. Andrews. As it stands, Malvin Palmer's team is in fourth, while Rodney Mckoy's team is in first.
The Yellowjackets took down Atkins 48-16 last week, the largest margin of any game.
