Newport entered their tilt with Osceola on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Seminoles get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory. With that win, the Greyhounds brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Newport got a massive performance out of Luke Sampson, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases Sampson has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Noah Tate, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
