The West Nassau Warriors lost against the Eagle's View Warriors back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. West Nassau fell to Eagle's View 37-32. While losing is never fun, West Nassau can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 499th, while Eagle's View is ranked 217th).
West Nassau lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Abagail Bailey, who scored 13 points. The matchup was Bailey's third in a row with at least ten points. Tru Armstrong was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
West Nassau bumped their record down to 4-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.8 points per game. As for Eagle's View, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Nassau will take on Hilliard at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eagle's View, they will be playing at home against First Coast Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
