The Bay Rockets pushed their score all the way to 64 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to North Olmsted 69-64. If Bay hoped to take revenge for the 45-33 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Several Rockets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Max Cockburn, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Tommy Mack, who scored 11 points.
Bay has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for North Olmsted, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bay will take on Cuyahoga Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Olmsted, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Fairview at 7:00 p.m. Fairview is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
