Hampton Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dominic Phillips out in front who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Phillips has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Braelyn Duncan, who scored 13 points.
North Hills Prep's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grant Jackson, who scored ten points. Ajali Ammah was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Hampton Prep and bumps their season record up to 3-7. As for North Hills Prep, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6.
Hampton Prep will head out on the road to challenge the at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Universal Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.9 points per game this season. As for North Hills Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m.
