Ellie Sylvia made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Samantha Farnsworth also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
As for Providence Hall, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.
On Providence Hall's side, Taycee Metts made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). Metts was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
In other batting news, Providence Hall got a massive performance out of Alysa Marcek, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Mariah Garcia, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI.
