Last Monday, everything came up roses for Eldorado on the road against Southeast Career Tech as the team secured a 66-17 victory. With Eldorado ahead 35-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Democracy Prep Agassi Campus was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 58-52 to Mater Academy East Las Vegas.
Despite the loss, Democracy Prep Agassi Campus saw an underclassman step up: Tai Coleman scored 19 points. Xzaviar Rayford was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Eldorado's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Democracy Prep Agassi Campus, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
