Basketball Game Preview: Bryant Hornets vs. Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors

Bryant is on a 11-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Little Rock Christian Academy is on a five-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Bryant Hornets will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Bryant's tournament run continued when they took on Bellaire on Monday. Bryant was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 68-67 to Bellaire. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (57), the Hornets still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Bryant got top-tier performance from Rj Young, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 13 boards. The matchup was Young's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Camarion Bead, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 16 points.

Even though they lost, Bryant was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bellaire only posted seven assists.

Meanwhile, Little Rock Christian Academy made easy work of Bowling Green on Saturday and carried off a 66-45 win. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Little Rock Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points per game. As for Bryant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.
