The King Lions can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top against Riverview by a score of 55-45. That result was just more of the same for these two, as King also won the last time the pair played back in January.
It was another big night for Julien Barnett, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of King's points. Ariel Muniz was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
King's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Riverview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King will take on Freedom at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverview, they will head out on the road to face off against Newsome at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
