Salem and Heritage squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Salem had to settle for second. They took a 46-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Pride. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Salem still got an impressive performance from Emme Custer, who went 7-for-17 to rack up 15 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Charli Wynn, who posted seven points.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 27-3. As for Heritage, the victory was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-3.

As of now, neither Salem nor Heritage have any future games scheduled.
