The Callaway Chargers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Neshoba Central 91-66. That looming 91-66 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Callaway yet this season.
Callaway's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Javarian Mallard, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine assists. It was the first time this season that Mallard posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Braxton Ward, who scored 20 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
The win got Callaway back to even at 14-14. As for Neshoba Central, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-12.
Callaway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Neshoba Central also has no future games currently scheduled.
