Cedar Crest suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They suffered a tough 80-57 loss at the hands of Central Dauphin. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 77 points the game before, Hempfield were a bit more limited in their match last Saturday. They fell 35-24 to Governor Mifflin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hempfield has scored all season.
Cedar Crest's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Hempfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Cedar Crest strolled past Hempfield when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 70-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cedar Crest since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
