The Ada Cougars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They managed a 50-46 victory over Dickson. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ada also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2016.
Ada's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makaviaya Nelson, who scored ten points. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for Nelson. Another player making a difference was Gracey Dotson, who scored nine points.
Ada's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Dickson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ada will take on Plainview at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Dickson, they will head out on the road to face off against Tishomingo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tishomingo comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
