They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat St. Thomas More 51-22 on the road. With Boone ahead 33-13 at the half, the game was all but over already.
It was another big night for Mckenna Murphy, who scored 18 points along with seven steals and five assists. The contest was her 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Danika Ballard, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Boone's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for St. Thomas More, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
Boone won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hilliard Darby at 11:30 a.m. on December 29th. Hilliard Darby will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 364th in Ohio, while Boone is ranked 49th in Florida). St. Thomas More won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Glen Rose at 9:25 a.m. on December 29th. Glen Rose is coming into the game hot, having won their last 11 games.
