Northwest Christian took down Faith Christian 59-28 last week, the largest margin of any game. Samuel Findley threw for 96 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
Kings Christian and Riverdale Christian played the most hotly contested game in Central Sierra (8 Man) this week, with Kings Christian eventually emerging with a 21-20 victory. Thomas Baker ran for 103 yards and caught three passes for eight yards in the win.
Alex Tamayo was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 143 yards on nine carries as the Warriors topped the Warriors. Jimmy Bartram also contributed to the rushing game with 16 yards on the ground.
Triston Netherton made the biggest impact on defense this week as Faith Christian fell to Northwest Christian. The senior recorded one fumble.
Hillberg was the best wideout in the league this week as Jeremy Trammell's team defeated Robert Arthurton's team. Hillberg tallied one reception for 54 yards. Robert Post helped Northwest Christian's passing attack out by catching two balls for 36 yards.
The Warriors' Joshsua Johansson and Mark Harvey have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Central Sierra (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Johansson has thrown for 1212 yards this season, while Harvey has 30 catches for 626 yards. Michael Pope from the Guardians leads the league in rushing with 1838 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Northwest Christian takes on second place Kings Christian. Last week, Northwest Christian beat Faith Christian, while the Crusaders bested Riverdale Christian.
There should be lots of points scored when the Guardians and Kings Christian face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Northwest Christian comes in having scored 538 this season, while Cameron Brooks' team has scored 453. The Guardians scored 59 points last week as they defeated the Warriors.
