The Polson Pirates lost against the Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Polson took a serious blow against Bigfork, falling 52-13. Polson has not had much luck with Bigfork recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Mckenna Hanson was Polson's leading scorer, having posted six points. Hanson also led the team in rebounds with nine.
Polson now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Bigfork, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with that win, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season.
Polson will take on Butte Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Butte Central Catholic comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Bigfork's road trip will continue as they head out to face Billings Central Catholic on December 15th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Montana (Billings Central Catholic is ranked 19th, while Bigfork is ranked tenth).
