Sioux City East entered their tilt with MOC-Floyd Valley on Saturday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Dutchmen a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Black Raiders have won 14 matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Sioux City East's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-2.

Sioux City East wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-7 win against Lewis Central on the 21st. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, they are taking a road trip to take on Sioux Center at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Dutchmen surely won't give up without a fight.
