Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on Tuesday. Kingwood's pitchers stepped up to hand North Shore a 10-0 shutout. Considering Kingwood has won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kingwood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for North Shore, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kingwood will challenge rival Humble at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Shore is set to square off against their familiar foe Goose Creek Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
