Sofia Martinez was a major factor in Animas's win over Quemado on Saturday. Animas won behind Martinez and the season-high 12 points she dropped on Quemado.
Martinez and Animas will head out on the road to challenge Mesilla Valley Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Animas is 9-0 against Mesilla Valley Christian School going back to January of 2020, a lead they'll look to extend.
