For Thomas Jefferson, this counts as revenge for the 71-45 defeat Dakota Ridge walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.
Thomas Jefferson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from William Perkins, who scored 30 points along with 4 steals. Doren Sacha was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with 4 steals.
Dakota Ridge's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ethan Berninger, who scored 20 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Bantock, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Thomas Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Dakota Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Thomas Jefferson will face off against Longmont at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Longmont focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday. As for Dakota Ridge, they will take on Rockwall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
