Mount Airy Christian Academy can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They put the hurt on Living Grace Christian with a sharp 74-53 victory. The win was nothing new for Mount Airy Christian Academy as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Joey Stanton was his usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-8 from deep and dropping a double-double on 37 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brady Shinabery, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Mount Airy Christian Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.67 points. As for Living Grace Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Airy Christian Academy and Perry Hall Christian will face off at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Perry Hall Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Friday. As for Living Grace Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Carroll Christian at 4:00 p.m.
